REGENERATION IS A NECESSITY--Part Six

REGENERATION IS A NECESSITY--Part Six
JOHN 3;1-13

In our first post, ''WHAT IS REGENERATION, '' we saw briefly What it is not.
1. It is not experimental.
2. It is not dependent on repentance and faith.
3. It is not contingent on the word of the gospel.
4. It is not reliant on the sinner, taking the first step, by manifesting his willingness to trust Christ.
5. It is not preceded by Divine Conviction.
6.It is not prefaced by the Effectual Call.
and now, we look again at;
7. It is not effected by the ordinance of Baptism.

Baptism is a symbolic picture of the believer's union with Christ, in His death, burial, and resurrection--
Romans 6;3-6--''Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death/ Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death; that like as
Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection; Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.''
Acts 8;36-38--[Turn].

Now, Get this truth; God has always had, only one means for man's redemption, and that method is GRACE.
Now, Grace can only act, on the foundation, that all alike, deserve nothing.
Therefore, through unmerited favor, Grace is bestowed upon some.

The people of God, in The Old Testament, were the recipients of Grace.

Acts 26;20-23--[Turn].

Paul said, ''None other things'' than those proclaimed by Moses and the Prophets, for setting apart those, Whom, God had previously given Hearing Ears.
His message was The Gospel--I Corinthians 15;1-4 [Turn].

Acts 2;38--''Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.''
This is not a difficult verse, if one understands Biblical Regeneration.

Repentance precedes Baptism;
it is the fruit of Regeneration.

Since Regeneration precedes Repentance, and Repentance precedes Baptism, then, How can
Baptism CAUSE Regeneration/
